We stayed at Amaroo Hikkaduwa for our first night in Sri Lanka and couldn’t have asked for a better start to our trip. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, which immediately made us feel at home. The food was outstanding, with lots of delicious vegetarian options and several great vegan dishes as well. Our room was nice and clean and offered a stunning view of the ocean.

Best bar on the beach. Great chilled vibes with sunbeds. Food is delicious as are the cocktails. The staff are brilliant too. Lots of very cute dogs is always a plus.

Nice accommodation however I feel there punching above their weight on rooms and price. We stayed in a waterfront room it was ok however it needed some work. The door to the balcony did not lock properly. There was no kettle or fridge in the room. Again all ok however not what I hoped or expected compared to other places. Location is fantastic easy reach for main town and transport. Just needs some touching up in a few places.

Absolutely amazing! We can easy say that this was one of our best and favourite Airbnbs to stay at! All round it was phenomenal! The friendliness, kindness, helpfulness and hospitality of ALL the staff members is admirable. The food is incredible !!! Wow !!!! The beach front view is stunning! We are so thankful for our special time we got to spend here! If we ever have the chance to come back to Sri Lanka ????????- this is where we will be coming for sure! Thank you!

Came for breakfast and had a delicious smoothie bowl and coconut coffee. Enjoyed so much we came back for lunch. Really recommend the avocado toast

Amaroo Beachfront Restaurant is an excellent dining spot in Hikkaduwa. The beachfront location gives a relaxing environment, perfect for enjoying a meal. The food is fresh, delicious, and full of taste, with plenty of options to choose from. A wonderful place to unwind, enjoy the view, and experience great service. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the Amaroo hotel during the off season and had a blast! The service was excellent, the staff were so helpful and kind. The food was amazing!! Highly recommend the passion fruit jam that comes with the breakfast service or the Tuna bowl! The rooms were very clean and cool. There is an outdoor shower setup that we enjoyed as well. The lounge chairs by the beach behind the restaurant are the best place to lounge about and watch the sunset

Had an amazing 4 nights at Amaroo. The service and people were fantastic and so friendly, the food super fresh and the view of the beach spectacular. Can’t wait to come back again!!
